ACKNOWLEDGE THE PAST

INSPIRE THE FUTURE

Music has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember.

I started out playing cover songs with several bands until I founded the "Heavy Duty" band. From then on I started writing my own songs. The band was secular, and we wrote songs that told about the world in which we live. Nothing with foul language, or crude commentary, but nothing that glorified God either. The debut album was entitled "Rabid Society" with lyrics portraying the evil in the world. As the band progressed, I felt God calling me to draw nearer to Him.

"I was raised in the church but wasn't following Christ as I should."

    I chose to write songs that would glorify God and witness of His amazing love. Needless to say, being the only Christian, we all went our separate ways. I decided to do a solo album which became "I am not what meets the eye".

    The Bible clearly states that we are to praise God with all instruments and in all we do. (Psalm 150, Ephesians 5:19,20) We were created and called to worship God. Our job as Christians is to sow the seeds of salvation and spread the gospel to every living soul.

    I can see how God is working dramatically in my life. Will you let Him work in yours? God loves us all no matter where we have been, or what we have done. Only you can change yourself with full submission to God, allowing Him to carry out the plans He has for you. My prayer is that you would trust Jesus and give your life to Him. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life!
